Speak For Me - Text to Speech helps you type text, save short favorite phrases, speak them aloud using your device text-to-speech engine, and save or share audio when you choose to do so.

Information We Collect

We do not require an account and we do not operate our own server that collects your typed text, favorite phrases, saved audio, name, email address, contacts, location, health information, financial information, photos, or microphone recordings.

Favorite phrases are stored locally on your device. Audio files are created only when you use the app's save or share audio feature. Those files remain on your device or are shared only with apps you select through Android's sharing tools.

Advertising

Speak For Me shows ads using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use device identifiers, including the advertising ID when available, IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and related data to provide, measure, and improve ads. Google may use this data according to its own privacy policies.

Permissions

The app uses internet and network state access to load ads. On older Android versions, the app may request storage permission so it can save audio files when you ask it to. The app does not use location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, phone, or Bluetooth permissions.

Children

Speak For Me is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. The app is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored by the app, such as favorite phrases and saved audio files, stays on your device until you delete it, clear the app data, uninstall the app, or remove saved files from your device storage.

Security

The app keeps its own app data on your device and disables Android backup for app data. No method of storage or transmission is perfect, but we design the app to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
