SwipeMax Privacy Policy

SwipeMax is a personal credit card points guide. The app is designed to work without a bank login, account login, card number, or financial account connection.

Information Stored On Your Device

SwipeMax stores your selected cards, favorites, settings, onboarding state, cached catalog data, and Pro entitlement state on your device using Apple platform storage. SwipeMax does not require or store bank usernames, passwords, full credit card numbers, or bank account balances.

Location

If you use Nearby or Shopping Mode, SwipeMax asks for location permission so it can find nearby stores and recommend the best card category. Precise location is used only for app functionality such as nearby merchant matching and Shopping Mode. SwipeMax does not send your precise location to a SwipeMax server. Nearby place lookup uses Apple MapKit and system location services, which are handled by Apple according to Apple's privacy practices.

Catalog Updates

SwipeMax can download a public credit card rewards catalog from GitHub Pages at catalog.json. That request may include standard network information such as IP address, device/browser request metadata, and timing information handled by GitHub Pages and network providers.

Advertising

The free version of SwipeMax shows ads using Google AdMob. SwipeMax requests non-personalized ads by default where supported. Google and its partners may process advertising data, device identifiers, product interaction, coarse location, crash data, performance data, and diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service operation. If ad privacy choices are required in your region, SwipeMax provides access to Google's privacy choices flow. SwipeMax Pro removes ads from the app.

Purchases

SwipeMax Pro purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. SwipeMax can read purchase entitlement status so Pro features can unlock, but SwipeMax does not receive your full payment card number or App Store billing details.

Source Web Pages

Some card detail screens can open source pages from card issuers or other reward information sources in an in-app Safari view. Those external websites are controlled by their owners and may have their own privacy policies.

Sharing

SwipeMax does not sell your selected card list, favorites, or precise location. Data handled by Apple, Google, GitHub Pages, card issuer websites, and other third-party services is governed by those services' privacy practices.

Children

SwipeMax is not directed to children.

This policy may be updated as SwipeMax changes. The updated date above will change when the policy is revised.
